4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans, or other malware.
The cookie stores information related to the specific device being used. However, this does not mean that we thereby gain direct knowledge of your identity.
We use cookies to make your experience on our website more enjoyable. For example, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited certain pages on our website. These cookies are automatically deleted when you leave our site.
In addition, to improve user experience, we also use temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specific period of time. When you visit our site again to use our services, the system automatically recognizes that you have visited us before and recalls the information and settings you previously entered, so you don’t have to re-enter them.
In addition, we use cookies to collect statistical data on the use of our website and to analyze this data in order to optimize our services for you (see Section 5). These cookies allow us to automatically recognize that you have visited our site before when you return. These cookies are automatically deleted after a specified period of time.

However, you can configure your browser so that cookies are not stored on your computer or so that a notification always appears before a new cookie is created. Please note, however, that completely disabling cookies may prevent you from using all the features of our website.
5. Analysis Tools
a) Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR. We use these tracking measures to ensure that our website is designed to meet your needs and to continuously optimize it. Additionally, we use these tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimizing our offerings for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.
i) Google Analytics
To ensure that our website is tailored to your needs and to continuously optimize it, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/en/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA
a) Meta Pixel (formerly Facebook Pixel)
Our website uses the visitor action pixel from Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Meta”). This allows us to track the behavior of website visitors after they have been redirected to the provider’s website by clicking on a Meta advertisement. This enables us to evaluate the effectiveness of Meta advertisements for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising campaigns.
The data collected is anonymous to us, meaning we cannot identify individual users. However, the data is stored and processed by Meta, allowing it to be linked to the respective user profile and enabling Meta to use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Meta Data Use Policy. You may allow Meta and its partners to display advertisements on and off Meta. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.
The use of Meta Pixel is based on Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, provided that the necessary consent has been obtained; this consent may be withdrawn at any time.
You can find more information about protecting your privacy in Meta's privacy policy: https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.
You can also use the "Custom Audiences" remarketing feature in the Ad Settings section at https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences/?entry_product=ad_settings_screen . To do this, you must be logged in to Meta. If you do not have a Meta account, you can disable usage-based advertising from Meta on the European Interactive Digital Advertising Alliance website: http://www.youronlinechoices.com/en/preference-management/.
b) Google Ads
We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" and, as part of this, conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie for conversion tracking is stored on your computer. These cookies expire after 30 days, do not contain any personal data, and therefore cannot be used to identify you personally.
The information collected by the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for Ads customers who have opted in to conversion tracking. Customers are shown the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page tagged with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that could be used to personally identify users.
"Conversion cookies" are stored in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR, provided that the necessary consent has been obtained; this consent may be withdrawn at any time.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can opt out by easily disabling the Google Conversion Tracking cookie in your web browser’s settings. You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
For more information about Google Ads and Google Conversion Tracking, please refer to Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
You can configure your browser to notify you when cookies are set and to allow cookies only on a case-by-case basis, to block cookies in certain cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when you close your browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this website.
Note:
Please ensure that you obtain the necessary user consent for the use of Meta Pixel and Google Ads, for example through an appropriate cookie banner. You should also regularly check whether any other tracking or analytics tools are used on your website and list them accordingly in your privacy policy.
It is advisable to review the privacy policy regularly and update it as needed, especially when new services or tools are added. In addition, the privacy policy should be placed in an easily accessible location on the website, such as via a clearly visible link in the footer.
Please note that this template is intended as a general guide and does not replace individual legal advice. We recommend having your privacy policy reviewed by a specialist attorney to ensure that all specific requirements are met.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will post the revised Privacy Policy on the Site, update the “Last Updated” date, and take any other steps required by law.
