Physics
In a glass mirror, the reflective coating is located behind the glass. Light must first enter the mirror, where it is refracted, reflected at the back, and refracted again on its way out. Some of the light is already reflected back by the glass surface. Two reflections, slightly offset: the double image.
With elamirror®, there is no glass in front of the mirror surface. One path, one image. And everyone in the gym looks at it at an angle: from the bench, from the weight rack, from the treadmill.

Mirror Film Surface
Before you ask
The questions we get most often from studios. Short answers, without the sales pitch.
Nothing gets in the way of play. The surface is splinter-free; there are no shards of glass and no risk of cuts. During a normal training impact, nothing happens; however, if subjected to brute force, the film may tear. But it never shatters.
That's the key difference from a glass mirror: broken glass on the training area constitutes a liability issue, and the area is closed off until a replacement arrives.
No. The surface is stretched over a self-supporting aluminum frame and does not rest against the wall. The frame defines the plane, not the plaster behind it.
With glass, that is exactly why the distorting mirror effect occurs: Even just two to three millimeters of unevenness is enough for the pane to curve and make the image appear wavy. Anyone who tries to check their knee position this way is checking the wrong line.
One person, no substructure, no crane. The panels weigh about 2 kg per square meter, so a 120 × 200 cm panel weighs less than 5 kg. By comparison, a glass pane of this size weighs around 30 to 50 kg, depending on its thickness, and requires two people plus a vacuum lifter.
It is delivered fully assembled.
Just like any other mirror: glass cleaner and a soft cloth. The surface is scratch-resistant; a fingernail won't leave a mark.
What not to use: scouring cream, brushes, pot scrubbers, and anything with abrasive particles. Any coated surface will take a hit from these—including this one. Just tell your cleaning person that, and the matter is settled.
Standard sizes are in stock and are shipped via a freight carrier. The exact delivery time will appear in the calculator once your area has been calculated, since it depends on the size and destination.
Deliveries are made to the curb. Let us know in advance if no one will be there during the day, and we'll arrange a time slot.
Report it, take photos, and request a replacement. We’ll cover any damage that occurs during shipping—not you. The only important thing is that you note the damage on the waybill when you receive the package and send us photos.
The surface cannot break in this process. In practice, this affects frames and edges.
